Hello, my name is Lulin! I’m excited to share my portfolio with you and hope to have the opportunity to discuss it with you in person.

I came to the US after graduating with a degree in industrial design from Victoria University of Wellington. I’ve been living and working in NYC for the past 5 years.

In my spare time I like to travel, hike, go climbing (at BKB and outdoors), and go on random walks to explore different parts of the city.

Design Philosophy

I love the design process and believe there is magic in products. I have enjoyed trying to figure out exactly what it is that makes a particular product special and retain key product features through to manufacturing.

I believe in creating products with the user in mind. People don’t adapt to products, products adapt to users.
